Vancouver IWW Branch Blog
We have a branch in Vancouver, that is currently working on the "Organizing Coffee Shops in Vancouver" campaign. The branch meets once a month, but the Vancouver wobblies make themselves available anytime to help out a fellow worker. Check in with us sometime and attend a meeting.

Vancouver Solidarity Network
Vancouver Solidarity Network (Vansol) is a volunteer network of people who believe in standing up for our rights. Our goal is to support our fellow workers’ strikes and struggles, build solidarity, and organize to deal with specific job, housing, and other problems caused by the greed of the rich and powerful.

Prepare The General Strike Committee

The IWW is a member-run union for all workers, a union dedicated to organizing on the job, in our industries and in our communities. We want our workplaces run for the benefit of workers and communities rather than for a handful of bosses and executives. The IWW organizes industrially, which is why it is so useful for smaller job sites like coffee shops, this also means, that the job site itself, isn't as important as the worker (who must hop from site to site depending on work.) Coffee shop workers can and often do pool our strength to win our demands together.
